Leukocyte Enzymes in birth defects- a review.
The utilization of peripheral leukocytes, mixed preparations or specific populations for the detection of homozygous and heterozygous states of inborn errors of metabolism via enzyme assay or detection of accumulated metabolites are reviewed.
